TGI Fridays Liverpool One
TGIF in Liverpool One (UK) has been open since July 2014 and includes many of my New York images as part of the interior design. The photographs are within the decor of the booths, framed on the history wall, blown up on the over-sized window wall and even as tiles the bathrooms.
The architect recommended me to the designers who were looking for a local New York photographer to provide authentic images of everyday places & candid activities on the streets of New York, I was happy to oblige. This is a selection of the photographs included.
As I was recently in Liverpool UK it was a great opportunity for me to see it myself. The restaurant design looks fantastic and the whole structure & decor is amazing: two spacious levels, with an open balcony to look down onto the entrance wall and lower floor.
It was definitely challenging to photograph the interior due to the layout of the stairs, the booth images being backlight, the surrounding wall being black and the overhead spotlights so I used long-exposure techniques and used a variety of tall & table top tripods to capture the interior space.
Many Thanks to the staff who allowed me access to roam around the restaurant for hours prior to opening so I could obtain these interior images.
