This image of the viewfinder positioned to direct the eye towards The Statue of Liberty was taken on the 4th July from the grounds of Ellis Island. I love the contrasting sharpness and deliberately blurred focus giving a play on proportion.
This image was on display at The Foley Gallery on the Lower East Side NYC as part of The Print Swap Exhibition 2021.
It seemed very apt to include the words "Turn to clear vision" during a continued time of refocus & visualisation for a healthier future. Here’s to clearer vision for 2022.
